Women's Group "Fill My Cup" Meets Sunday, March 1st

This coming Sunday, March 1, everyone is asked to bring their favorite quilt, afghan, or blanket to church with them and put it in the pew where you are sitting. The Women's Group "Fill My Cup", will then meet at 2:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall with the theme being "A Touch of Comfort".

What is Lent and why does it last forty days?

Lent is a season of forty days, not counting Sundays, which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday. Lent comes from the Anglo Saxon word lencten, meaning “lengthen” and refers to the lengthening days of spring.
