Chancel Choir

Hello, my name is Sue Jones and I am the Chancel Choir Director. The Methodist Chancel Choir meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15 and sings an anthem every Sunday morning during church service from the Sunday after Labor Day in September to the last Sunday in May. We meet in the basement of the church, next to Fellowship Hall & the kitchen. My responsibility as choir director is to provide a weekly anthem to practice each Wednesday evening and then direct the choir during our Sunday service. I select special music for the Advent season, the Christmas program, Christmas and post Christmas music including Epiphany. I select pre-Easter music including Palm Sunday. I also select & prepare an Easter Cantata. I choose all the music for our Chancel Choir. I have the responsibility to also order new music in the summer for the upcoming choir year. We welcome new members at any time during the year.

Children’s Time

Children's Time is a special part of most of our Sunday services where kids of all ages gather at the front of the church to have a short Bible lesson prepared and lead by an adult volunteer. It's very informal and the kids enjoy talking and participating in the lesson. If you'd like to be one of our Children's Time volunteers, please contact Deb Finlay or the Church Office and we will add you to our list.
